Vanavasi Kalyana Karnataka

Culture

Amoung vanavasis the faith, culture and the practice of rituals are very deep rooted. They are basically nature worshipers and the practices are very diverse and colourful. Bharats cultural diversity and unity is incomplete if the indigenous(vanavasi) faith and culture is taken away. VKK is striving to bring awareness among the vanavasis about the rich culture they have inherited and the need to preserve and take it to the generation next. Shraddhaa jagaran, bhajan and samskaar kendras are run by VKK to bring about over all quality of life.

Satsangh Centers

The Satsangh centers operate to strengthen the roots of the tribals, and help preserve their art, culture, and methods of worship. At least once in a week the tribals meet and chant their prayers here.
